Gonzaba Medical Group has an excellent opportunity for a Board Certified/ Board Eligible Family Practice/Internal Medicine Physician to join our growing medical group. A team of 15 physicians with three locations offers primary care and occupational services to the residents of San Antonio. Our ancillary services include advanced imaging such as mammography, bone density, MRI and CT. We have recently become accredited in MRI by the American College of Radiology. In addition we offer physical medicine and rehabilitation services and have contracted with an in house laboratory. Job Responsibilities:
This position is primarily responsible for assisting Physicians, LVN, RN and the clinical staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Prepares patients for examination takes and notes height, weight, blood pressure, pulse rate, respiration, and temperature.
- Notes reason for visit and patient history
- Assist clinical staff in completing examination and procedures as instructed.
- Administer medications and injections as instructed by clinical staff.
- Maintain exam rooms with proper supplies necessary diagnosis, treatment plans and authorizations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
