At Gonzaba Medical Group, we believe that care extends beyond primary care. Our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation services are created to support patients through every step of recovery, helping them regain strength, enhance mobility, and return to the activities they enjoy most.

We currently provide these services across three San Antonio locations. We have two dedicated locations, our Main Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Center on 810 Pleasanton Road and our Woodlawn Specialty Center at 902 Bandera Road. We also offer Physical Therapy services at our Northwest Medical Center at 7219 Culebra Road. With a team of six providers and specialized support staff, our approach is rooted in personalized, compassionate care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

As we expand these services, we are proud to welcome a new member to our physical medicine team—someone who embodies our dedication to patient-centered care.

Meet Dr. Alma Santos, PT, DPT, NCS
Licensed Physical Therapist Dr. Alma Santos brings both clinical expertise and a deeply compassionate approach to patient care. She is passionate about empowering individuals to regain balance, strength, stability, and confidence in their daily lives. Known for her expertise in vestibular and neurological rehabilitation, Dr. Santos pairs skill with empathetic communication and a collaborative approach to care.

Reflecting on her decision to join Gonzaba Medical Group, she shares: “I truly love helping people, and Physical Therapy allows me to build meaningful relationships while guiding patients toward recovery.
