Dr. Cardenas was born and raised in Mexico. He is an avid sports fan who loves the C.D. Guadalajara Chivas, New York Yankees, Houston Texans and of course The San Antonio Spurs. In addition to watching sports, he also enjoys playing soccer in his spare time. Once a week he even plays a game or two with fellow Gonzaba doctors.
Why the medical field?
Growing up, Dr. Cardenas was very close with his uncle who was a doctor. He admired that his uncle would treat any person that needed help, even if they were unable to pay and dreamed that he could someday help people in the same way.
Dr. Cardenas joined the Gonzaba team in 2015. From the very start of his career at GMG he liked the way patients are given the highest quality of care. According to him being a member of the GMG team does not feel like work but rather like family helping family.
