Nurse Practitioner

NP Courtney Ibarra has been in nursing for over a decade, gaining expertise across Texas, and giving back to her community. NP Ibarra received her Master of Science in Nursing, as a Family Nurse Practitioner and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Chamberlain University. At Galen College of Nursing, she earned her Vocational License and received her Associates of Nursing, as a Registered Nurse. Throughout her career, NP Ibarra has worked in a variety of different hospital settings and has gained a wealth of knowledge in urgent care, acute care, and intensive care.

NP Ibarra started nursing in 2012 assisting elderly patients in rehab, hospice, and special care. She’s experienced in intensive care units, emergency rooms, and OB/GYN care. During Hurricane Harvey, NP Ibarra was sent with a volunteer group and assisted in a pop-up hospital located in the NRGA Stadium. She treated and cared for patients that had lost their homes in Houston while she was off from work. She most recently was a Nurse Practitioner for Northeast ProHealth in Internal Medicine and an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse at Brooke Amy Medical Center providing care to trauma and wound care patients.

NP Ibarra joined Gonzaba Medical Group in 2023 joining the Main Medical Observation team. She enjoys working as a team to provide the best possible care for each patient.
